Information we collect

Account data: your email address (used to sign you in and, for school or health-system domains, to award a Verified badge), your name and role, and optional profile details you choose to add: specialty, hospital or program, city, dates, bio and photo.
Verification data (optional): license type, number and state, NPI and any note you submit. It's visible only to ResidencyHome admins. If you give an NPI, we look it up in the public NPPES NPI Registry run by CMS.
Listings and messages: content you post, photos you upload, and messages you exchange with other members.
Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used for security, rate limiting and abuse prevention. A strictly necessary session cookie keeps you signed in.

How we use it

To operate the service: sign you in, review verification requests, show your listings, deliver messages and send sign-in codes.
To keep the community safe: investigate reports, prevent fraud and enforce our Terms.
To improve the service, using aggregated analytics. [Describe any analytics provider once chosen.]

What other members see

Listings are public. Your name, profile, email address and any phone number you add to a listing are visible only to signed-in members.

Sharing

We don't sell personal information. We share data with service providers that host and operate the service (e.g. hosting, database, email delivery, file storage) under contracts, or when required by law. [List providers, e.g. Vercel, Supabase, Resend.]

Retention and deletion
